I sure hope you and Mark are right Linsey... from what I am seeing on the mortgage side of things it looks like it'll take longer. It's interesting to compare the inventory numbers mentioned above with the chart that Credit Suisse did on the reset schedules of all the adjustable rate mortgages out there.... According to thier graph we should be seeing less inventory due to less ARM resets over the next few month and then there will be another huge influx. I have the graph that you are more than willing to share so email me if you are interested and I'll get it into your hands and walk you through the analysis of it...
There are many other variables to consider for sure on when the turn around will happen in fact as we all know the media itself will play it's role on the upside just as it has on the downward trend so we'll all just have to keep a watchful eye.

Predictions aren't worth much these days so don't lay awake naming yours. Besides, I'm not sure you can beat the genius of your website name, The Big Bear Skinny. Love that! Thanks for stopping by.

Hey Linsey.

Planeta Prediction, hum....what goes good with Wood? All market conditions are local, and I hope your prediction date is the same time frame for Big Bear but I doubt it. Second homes markets always lag the others by 6-12 months. Survive, then thrive!

Wow Jim. You are daring. Gotta love the specifics though. I'll call you at 2:00 on the 19th to review your accuracy. :)

At this point, with all the variables we are dealing with, that guess may be as good as anyone's.
